Woman Argues With Police Over a $14 Theft Accusation

Atlas Ioka reacts to police bodycam footage from North Fort Myers, Florida, where deputies respond to a reported theft at a RaceTrac convenience store.

Store employees tell deputies that a woman left with approximately $14 worth of alcohol she allegedly did not pay for. When a deputy approaches her and begins investigating what happened, a relatively minor allegation develops into a much larger encounter.

In this video, I react as the situation unfolds, including the initial theft allegation, the employee's account of what happened, the deputy's attempt to identify the woman, her response to the investigation, and what officers discover afterward.
